Can it be? My niece is eight years old. It feels like just yesterday we were making up silly dances in parking lots and watching cartoons together. Now, she's a savvy tween with posters of Justin Beiber in her room and all of the coolest pop hits on her iPod. We had a great time celebrating with the family. Leyla seems to think that she's a seasoned pro in the pool now. She's such a daredevil. Jumping off of the steps into Mike's arms? No problem. Being launched waaay up in the air and coming down with a SPLASH? "More?" she'd ask as she'd come up from under water. After watching her cousin do a dive off of the diving board, she insisted on following suit. I couldn't believe my eyes as she climbed up onto the diving board, looked down into the pool, and hopped in. Just like that. =)

Thanks, Lydia! =) HAHA... she always gets so wide-eyed when in comes to cake, doesn't she? The tie-dye shirts were so fun... reminded me of summer camp!
