Zzzzzzzzz

A full night of sleep is now a concept so foreign to Mike and I that we whisper about it with awe and wonder as if it's some fairytale... We say, "Can you believe that people get to sleep in on the weekend til after 7am????" or, "I wonder what it would be like to sleep through the whole night? Ooooh! Ahhhhh!"... Hahaha...

For some wild reason, Leyla has been waking up at 2:30am and will NOT go back to sleep on her own. Last night she cried until 3:45am...SO... it's with weary eyes that I write this entry. Thank goodness she's already captured our hearts! =)

Matching stripes... Mike tells me that his father had the same crooked grin. I love that she is made up of a little of everyone in our families. She's got my hair and eyes, Mike's chin and ears... Both of our appetites for sure! Haha!

Leyla "helping" me fold the sheets... she loves laying on them when they are just out of the dryer...It's the simple things in life...

She can go from serious to happy in the blink of an eye... she cracks me up...

Don't let her cuteness fool you... she's actually trying to climb from the rocking chair into her crib by herself... This little one has absolutely no fear!

Her first time riding on the horse by herself! In the past it was a little scary for her but this time... she was a pro!!! In fact she loved it so much that she cried when the ride ended.
